This increases stress as there is no get away, and leaves holidays to be bought by the more privileged.\r\nThis government needs to rethink what it is doing and look at the impact caused by the inability of families to get away. It appears to most sensible Families to be another tax on (again I quote) \"hard working families\" who are finding harder and harder to make ends meet.\r\nThis government has hidden this tax around the education of children, yet research has shown that children in England are becoming more and more stressed. People who are not able to take there children away will resent more and more the government and see it as bully, who once again looks after itself.\r\n","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2014-02-06T18:51:27.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:29:42.552Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:43:26.136Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-02-06T18:51:27.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"no-action","details":null},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}},{"type":"archived-petition","id":21125,"links":{"self":"https://preview.epetitions.website/archived/petitions/21125.json"},"parliament":{"period":"2010-2015","government":"Conservative – Liberal Democrat coalition","dissolution_at":"2015-03-30T23:59:59.000+01:00","response_threshold":10000,"debate_threshold":100000},"attributes":{"action":"No Minimum Alchohol Pricing in Scotland","background":null,"additional_details":"I want the government to get off the backs of hard working people who in general are responsible drinkers, also to stop eroding the small amount of civil freedoms left, and to leave the alcohol pricing to shopkeepers and producers in the drinks industry who keep people in employment.","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2011-11-01T23:27:57.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:27:29.516Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:36:17.372Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2011-11-01T23:27:57.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"irrelevant","details":null},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}},{"type":"archived-petition","id":60394,"links":{"self":"https://preview.epetitions.website/archived/petitions/60394.json"},"parliament":{"period":"2010-2015","government":"Conservative – Liberal Democrat coalition","dissolution_at":"2015-03-30T23:59:59.000+01:00","response_threshold":10000,"debate_threshold":100000},"attributes":{"action":"Help prevent an A* student being kicked out just for having shoulder length hair.","background":null,"additional_details":"A male student may have to permanently leave his school only weeks before A Level exams because he has shoulder length hair. Six million people in the uk are suffering from depression, anxiety and emotional stress according to the Department of Health. A further 8 million people are afflicted with a variety of mental illnesses. Yet there is no specialist help readily available to date. Mental health facilities can sometimes feel clinical and don't always provide the right support and understanding.\r\nMy mission, is to start a foundation in the uk. Work shop programmes are needed to provide access to free support without going to your GP. The foundation would offer advice to those who need it, from volunteers to professional people with a background in mental health studies. It could also provide group activites, such as fun days out.","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2014-02-18T18:41:59.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:29:45.219Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:43:34.171Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-02-18T18:41:59.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"no-action","details":null},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}}]}
