The BBC failed to inform its audiences about the attacks carried by Israel on the people of Gaza.\r\n\r\nOn 8 July, after missile attacks on Gaza, BBC had reported on its web page, a biased article with the headline “Israel under renewed Hamas attack.”\r\n\r\nThe article stated ,Palestinian militants have fired more rockets at Israeli cities.\r\n\r\nMany senior columnists have argued that there is a clear bias being shown by the BBC. As license payers we expect fair, accurate coverage from our national TV channels. The people of UK deserve to know the truth.\r\n\r\nWe ask David Cameron & the government to raise this issue in parliament & take immediate action against the BBC to resolve this issue\r\n\r\n","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2014-07-13T23:09:15.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:30:07.348Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:44:47.223Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-07-13T23:09:15.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"irrelevant","details":"This is for the BBC to answer."},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}},{"type":"archived-petition","id":67636,"links":{"self":"https://preview.epetitions.website/archived/petitions/67636.json"},"parliament":{"period":"2010-2015","government":"Conservative – Liberal Democrat coalition","dissolution_at":"2015-03-30T23:59:59.000+01:00","response_threshold":10000,"debate_threshold":100000},"attributes":{"action":"BRITISH MUSLIMS LAUNCH NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO PROHIBIT ALL PUBLIC FACE-MASKING (INCLUDING BURQA/NIQAB) IN THE UK","background":null,"additional_details":"Following the ECHR ruling upholding France’s ban on face-masking, the UK must follow suit. If this Trojan shari’ah horse is not routed, we set a dangerous precedent that will imperil Britain’s democracy and liberty.\r\n\r\nWe call upon everyone to join us in abolishing this patriarchal fallacy.\r\n","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2014-07-17T06:25:13.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:30:07.707Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:44:48.317Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-07-17T06:25:13.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"duplicate","details":"Your other e-petition has been published.
