For example basic improvements could be the offering of a website linked to the Directgov website with hints and tips about CV writing, interviews, and cover letter writing, and the development of blogs targeted at operational, managerial and senior management, as well as topical issues, as this would allow the development of informal networks/self-help groups and it would be highly cost effective and a repository of good ideas, etc which could be used to improve services offered.\r\n\r\n","committee_note":null,"state":"closed","signature_count":4,"created_at":"2014-01-21T09:57:11.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:29:39.556Z","rejected_at":null,"opened_at":"2014-01-21T18:11:31.000Z","closed_at":"2015-01-21T18:11:31.000Z","moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2014-01-21T09:57:11.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":null,"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}},{"type":"archived-petition","id":59849,"links":{"self":"https://preview.epetitions.website/archived/petitions/59849.json"},"parliament":{"period":"2010-2015","government":"Conservative – Liberal Democrat coalition","dissolution_at":"2015-03-30T23:59:59.000+01:00","response_threshold":10000,"debate_threshold":100000},"attributes":{"action":"make multi nationals pay corporation tax in country where profits created","background":null,"additional_details":"Stop allowing all multi national companies to go off shore to avoid paying any tax in country where it generates monies .The government are allowing this to happen depriving taxpayers who live in the uk and in other countrys to do same thing. But no Infantry Role due to the reason that they are 'Too Weak' or 'Too Much of a Hazard to the Mission.'\r\n\r\nIf you look at the American Army there is a 2nd Lieutenant Stephanie Hecker who is a Platoon Commander in the Airborne Division, they are an infantry Unit.\r\n\r\nI believe if a Woman wants to join the Infantry she should be given the opportunity to see if her Physical and Mental capabilities are up to standards. And as we do with the Cadets when staying in Barracks have them split up, to stop people from presuming that the Soldiers may end up sleeping together.\r\n\r\nIf Male and Female soldiers can work effectively and Co-Equally in all other roles in H.M Armed Forces, why should infantry be any different?
