Just as students have to pay for their education, a similar scheme should be set up, to ensure convicted rioters pay in full, for any damage to goods, property and people they have caused. Unlike students though, payments shoukd begin straight away, even if the money is deducted from benefits to pay. The taxpayer should not foot the bill.
