Horses are run until they are exhausted, injured or suffer a fatal accident in the name of sport and money. Before we can lecture neighbouring countries on animal welfare we need to address our own denial of cruelty. Man has a choice of whether to risk his health and life in the name of sport. Animals have no choice.
