Rejected petition Remove trailers from the start of purchased DVDs
More details
This petition seeks to stop DVD publishers from putting trailers for other films at the start of purchased DVDs.
Having paid money to buy a DVD the purchaser has paid to see the material. They should not then be made to endure multiple adverts and trailers which are often difficult or impossible to skip before being able to watch the feature that has been paid for.
In short trailers should only be added to DVDs as extras and without user override prevention.
