Bill Bratton was a Police Chief in Los Angeles and you want his advice on Policing the U.K. ? You have lost it !!!
Number 1 send him home. Number 2 make a genuine effort to engage our young people. To them this is your World and it Stinks. Find ways to give them a Voice and Listen. It has taken years to generate this problem and there is no quick fix. Heavy Handed Policing will make things worse the best of our police officers know that. Number 3 Deal with Deaths in Custody. Deal with abusive officers, the first people to thank you will be their colleagues.
