Reintroduce conscription for UK 17 to 19 year olds for atleast one year, with an option of a second year.
To serve on the UK mainland bases being trained in support/administration roles in the first year (earning recognised qulifications), moving into military training as an option for a second year. Conscripts can decided the age at which they will start their service, but it must be completed by the end of their 20th year if chosing to serve two years.
