Given the recent scandal where corrupt public officials were exposed looting the public purse (expenses scandal) on a massive scale. This type of crime against society as a whole by the greedy elected officials is totally unacceptable

This petition calls for is for a mandatory 10 year Jail term to be given to any public official convicted on corruption charges and for time to be served in a maximum security prison.
