The British Government should prevent the spiralling cost of rents and house prices.
I believe that the people/companies that have these vast property empires, work the capital cost and rent costs by manipulating either one or the other. The end result is that first time buyers and others are caught in spiralling cost of housing they cannot afford. Currently rents are rising so fast that there will be no option but to buy if it is at all possible!
