Petition Manufacturers Level Playingfield: Scrap VAT and tax goods based on environmental impact of production and transport

More details

Scrap VAT and instead tax goods and services based upon their environmental impact, including:
1. the methods by which they are produced; and
2. the impact of the transport to their target market.

This would encourage environmentally friendly production by foreign countries and help (local) UK and EU manufacturers by creating more of a level playing field for local producers.
