Petition Clarification on laws relating to Clamping and Towing activity

It should be agreed that any individual can successfully counter-act obscene clamping/towing activity by placing inside his/her car a notice which reads:

"This vehicle is the lawful property of [insert name]. Any installation/application of items/objects/articles/software into/onto this vehicle shall have their ownership transferred to the owner stated above. The ownership of this vehicle shall remain with the owner stated above (to the limits of the law) and any removal of the vehicle (e.g. towing) by a party without authority shall be deemed by both parties as theft unless proven otherwise.

Specifically, any clamps or objects placed on this vehicle (e.g. to obstruct use) shall have their ownership transferred to the owner of the vehicle (stated above) who will be entitled to do with the item anything he/she deems fit, including removal and/or destruction of said object.

Please sign this petition to stop cowboy individuals/firms who deal in unfair terms and outlandish fees.
