Petition petition to create a government body to help deal with, identify and prevent domestic abuse

1 in 4 relationships will have an element of domestic abuse present within it. thousands of people flee from abuse every year. yet, there is no national service to help deal with it. we have charities and non profit organisations, but no organisation with teeth to help protect victims and repremand abusers.
continued support and counselling is required for victims after leaving abuse. extra security is currently provided by police. but you can only get help if you know where to get it from. we are poorly educated in abuse and we require a real department comitted to change to re educate offenders, protect children and victims animal or human. child access laws need reviewed and there needs to be a re education policy changing the associated stereotypes.
