Is it just and fair, when a couple are on Benefits through no fault of their own are only allowed £105.95 living allowance per week that the Government say a couple can live on when councils assess Council Tax and Housing Benefit.This allowance should be calculated at the same rate as a pensioner couple up to £209.70 per week.Lets have some form of parity and allow couples whether pensioners or on Benefits to get the same living standards.
