How can a tax on septic tanks be justified?
In rural areas there is no option but to be linked to a septic tank. The emptying of which has to be paid for by each resident.
Rural areas, often, have no street lighting, no mains drainage and no road upkeep. Yet still pay the statutory and standard Council Tax revenue.
