We should use GPS technology to limit vehicles to the speed limit for the road they are driving on - no more idiots doing 45 mph past a school, fewer avoidable road deaths - the No 1 cause of child death and injury in the UK.
DfT should make this a requirement for new cars in the UK from next year, and for all cars on UK roads by say 2016.
