As the public sector are facing cuts our elected MP's could take a lead by taking a cut in travel expenses.
While it is accepted they need to travel between parliament and their constituencies there is a simple cost cutting effort our elected MP's can make.
By only being allowed to claim for a standard rail fare on expenses and if they wish to travel first class make up the difference at their own expense
