Petition Voting Ban For Elected Officials Who Have Been Jailed

I believe that MPs who are jailed for any offence should not enjoy the right to vote in any public election again.
They have broken the trust of the British people, who need to know that their elected politicians are honest.
The ban would also apply to any elected official in public office (eg Council). We must do what we can to remove dishonest and criminal actions and people from our places of governance.
