Petition Everyone should show id to purchase alcohol

Asking only young people for identification when purchasing alcohol is discriminatory. Everyone should be made to show id so that no one can be offended for being asked, and everyone is treated fairly to avoid arguments.
We would like the government to introduce legislation which demands that anyone purchasing alcohol in a shop should be asked to produce id, regardless of 'how old they look'.
