Rejected petition stop gap between rich & poor getting wider

I would like the government to enter into discussions with all trade unions to abolish percentage wage rises.
Go back to all employees from floor workers to directors having same increase.
Important people earn big wages based on the job they do it should not entitle them to wage increases bigger than anyone else.
This would stop the gap getting out of control in years to come.
