The Government should do more to regulate actions of Banks who received State aid and look after the tax payers interests.
Therefore, Halifax should be forced to withdraw the current publicity campaign to offer three monthly prizes of £100k to anyone who holds a minimum of £5k in an account.
The reason for this e-petition is that only the Rich can enter as the majority of the UK are still in recession and it is not giving the average tax payer any benefit.
This is a blatant abuse of tax payer funds and if it is allowed to continue, underlines the perception that this Government, along with the previous Government, are in the Bankers pockets,
