Petition No more new buildings for any religious persuasion should be erected in this country
More details
All land available for building should be used for housing and businesses. Religious meetings can be held in any building, i.e. village hall, community hall, school hall etc and a designated building is not necessary. The government should legislate for planning authorities to be able to refuse planning applications for Cathedrals, Temples, Synagogues, Mosques, Churches etc., as these are not necessary in the 21st century.
