Diana Coyle who is a BBC Trust member still finds it necessary to be a political aide to the labour party. This appointment was described by BBC Trust Head of Governance Phil Harrold, suggested "this could potentially be a significant partisan political activity".
A BBC Trust member should be impartial yet obviously a labour party member is not impartial.
