Rejected petition Don't give in to Public Sector workers demands!

As a full time working mother who has paid tax into the system for well over 20 years, I detest the blinkered view of public sector workers prepared to strike when they clearly have far better pay and conditions that many private sector workers.

It's about time that the Government stood up to these well paid workers in regard to the pensions row and stop insulting those who work hard and pay tax yet can't possibly even afford a pension!

I run an agency and there are many experienced, professional people who would happily take their jobs with NO pension as their basic pay is generally better than those in the private sector and it's about time the unions and strikers got real!

It disturbs me that the Government are willing to even negotiate. The public sector workers who strike are an absolute disgrace and they need to be grateulf that they have employment, stop being greedy and just get on with what we pay them for!
