We call upon Parliament to introduce the shelved EU proposal to allow people to see all data online companies have on them and to request its deletion as part of national law, and to prohibit companies from scouring people's social networking profiles and refusing to hire them if they detect any sign of a personality. Such practices rob and suppress individuality and intrude unnecessarily into our personal lives.
