Petition Petition to request the Queen formally invite Sweden and Denmark into Commonwealth

In order to preserve their national identity and right to self governance whilst keeping the strengths of an international voice, the joining of Sweden and Denmark into the Commonwealth would be a real alternative to signing up to restrictive EU reforms and the inevitable acceptance of the Euro currency.

The Commonwealth would be strengthened by accepting these European nations and would gain more relevance as other nations see it's potential.

Benefits to Sweden and Denmark include growth in developing markets through trade agreements, continued independence and right to self governance, membership of a stable and fair organisation.

Benefits to the UK include the increased relevance and strength of the Commonwealth, lower dependence on EU, continued independence.
