DEFRA should offer fair compensation to farmers for loss of TB infected bovine animals on the basis of their true market value and not on their age.
TB in bovine animals is spreading across the country fast and with the badger cull still not in place it's not going to slow down.
Farmers are losing thousands of pounds in loss of cattle and are currently given an average price for the age of the animal instead of it's true market value.
This petition calls for fair compensation to be given to the farmers on the basis of each animals true market value as judged independently from the government.
