Fred Goodwin was knighted in the Queen's 2004 Birthday Honours list, for services to banking.

As CEO of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group he presided over the Group's collapse and de facto nationalisation.

He is clearly unfit to hold any honour from our country and the government is requested to take action to ensure that the knighthood is withdrawn.
