Moves are afoot to introduce daily road usage charging to UK Haulage Contractors including Foreign Commercial Vehicles. Whilst this problem should have been sorted out years ago,which has allowed a massive influx of foreign vehicles onto our roads,who do not pay anything to road costs,whilst UK companies are charged when operating in europe.
This legislation could also be used to include private vehicles as well .
