I think it is time that we brought back in the Married Persons tax allowance, where we can transfer our tax allowances between couples. this would help with people staying home to look after families, create more movement in cash flow, and really show the people that the government is interested in keeping families together.
currently my family would be financially better off if the main breadwinner moved out of the family home allowing the other person to claim benefits! this is WRONG - come on, keep families together
