Every morning between 1978 and 2006 BBC Radio 4 would open by playing the UK Theme, a 5 minute composition produced by Fritz Spiegl. The piece is a cheery combination of famous English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh themes. This is a petition to restore this bright and uplifting tune to its rightful place.
