Petition Allow the reintroduction of selective state schools

This petition would allow a maximum of 50 currently existing state comprehensive schools to introduce selective entrance exams at age eleven, providing that all of the following requirements are met:
1) A majority of parents living the catchment area agree to the change
2) There is existing adequate educational provision in the local area for pupils who will fail to get into the new grammar school
3) The Local Education Authority agrees to the change
