Following the abysmal advice of minister Francis Maude to store petrol and the unfortunate burning of a Yorkshire woman - decanting petrol in her kitchen whilst the cooker was on - it is clear that many of the country's motorists lack a full and functional knowledge of fuel handling.
Make this important safety knowledge part of the Driving Test - both as Practical and Theory demonstrations.
