All Road vehicles entering the UK to be subject to a road tax. Britain is one of the few European countries where travel on roads is free and motorway tolls are an exception rather than a rule. Certain European countries have a tax on entry system such as Switzerland and Lithuania and most European countries have toll roads. It seems normal that vehicles entering the UK should pay road tax and benefits from the system could reduce duty on fuel.
