Members of the Better Services, Better Value review panel have released statements regarding the recommendation clousure of the A&E and maternity services at St Helier Hospital.
The catchment area served by St Helier is large and the increase in journey time for critically ill residents and expectant mums to reach an alternative such as Epsom, Kingston, Tooting or Croydon is unacceptable
