why does the goverment persist in ripping off the british public, beer tax, petrol tax, cigarette tax, council tax, vat tax,road tax,tv license tax,food tax, fuel tax, don't they realise the higher the tax the less people can afford it and use it, the more bussiness that collapse the less jobs there are, then less money going to the tax man. the cheaper things are the more people will use them and more jobs created.
