There was one man who saw the crunch coming. That man was Dr. Vincent Cable, a man who has behind him the experience of a sucessful career at Shell as the Chief Economist. It's time we replaced the personality-less career bureaucrat George Osborne with a technocrat who actually knows what's going on.
