We request HM Government submit the name of our late colleague PC Ian Dibell, to be awarded a Posthumous George Medal.
Whilst off-duty, he selfishly gave his own life to protect the lives of others. His personal sacrifice echoed the bravery shown by all of our police colleagues on a daily basis. Making this award posthumously will be a clear sign of the respect and admiration we have for Ian, and for all serving police officers.
