Petition Selling data breaches data protection act
More details
Stop companies selling data they hold on individuals. This is a breach of the data protection act and has meant a great rise in cold calling and probably identity theft.
The government should debate the selling of data and amend the act to outlaw the practice.
The majority of the population must have been affected by cold calling, scams, unsolicited calls and post.
