Private Security organisations have proved themselves unreliable in providing 'policing services' They are motivated to serve the interests of shareholders and not the public. The public have a right to expect and demand of Government that policing services remain in publicly controlled hands to whom they (the police) are ultimately accountable. Further such intended privatisations must cease - in the light and experience of recent events.
