A22 Godstone Road in Whyteleafe. Propose that the speed limit be reduced to 20mph in both directions as road passes through villiage high street.
HGV's and Buses often approach in excess of 30mph. This part of Whyteleafe is popular route for commuters using Whyteleafe & Upper Warlingham rail stations, as well as for children on school run to Whyteleafe Primary & Warlingham Secondry. The Road is not built for the volume of traffic and size of vehicles using it. It is narrow and on many occasions vehicles have scuffed wheels/mounted pavements at speed. An accident waiting to happen.
