The war on drugs has failed. The government needs to at least accept scientific opinion on the safety and efficacy of illegal drugs. The current criminal status of drugs stands against all scientific evidence and as such we need a review of this. I propose a debate on the comparison between prohibition and regulation of illegal drugs. Taking into account the social, criminal, health and economical advantages and disadvantages.
