Petition Scrap VAT on pet drugs and medications

Animals are already used to test drugs for humans and such drugs are not subject to VAT when issued by the NHS. to patients. Why should pet drugs be subject to VAT ? Surely this should be a level playing field for all creatures and a Zero rate would be more appropriate considering the contribution they currently make to our wellbeing.
