Rejected petition scrap road humps

Road humps are a collective punishment metered out to all motorists.
Millions of pounds has been invested in improving road surfacing over the years alongside vast improvements in car suspension systems. All this work has been ruined by the policy of infesting our streets with road humps.
It makes travelling on some roads near impossible for people with back or hip problems, not to mention the extra agony of injured people travelling in ambulances.
I propose that all road humps are removed from our roads.
