We the undersigned are calling for an independent enquiry into the sale of Ark Royal to Turkey.
If the Ark Royal was kept in the UK and sunk to form an artificial reef the UK tax payer would keep benefiting from the vessel for years to come due the jobs it would create in a deprived area.
We are calling for the Government to hold an independent enquiry to establish why the Ark Royal was sold to Turkey and to establish the economical benefit to Torbay.
We are also calling for a U turn on the decision.
