Petition Transfer public telephone boxes from BT to Local Authorities

We believe that BT is not fully honouring its commitment under the Universal Service Obligation to maintain public telephone boxes. We call on the government to take public telephone boxes away from BT and give them to Local Authorities. This would introduce democratic accountability which does not exist at present.
