In view of the fact that Sir David Nicholson's was head of the West Midlands Strategic Health Authority, which was responsible for supervising standards at Stafford Hospital, between 2005 and 2006 and therefore should be held accountable for the mis-management and has failed in his post as the current NHS Chief Executive he should resign with immediate effect.
