Rejected petition Make it safer place for our children

I am trying to get Traffic Lights, Red Light and some speed Cameras put up in Gale Street - Dagenham to replace the zebra crossings what currently in place and ignored.

This is because the road comes off the A13 past 2 schools Jo Richardson Community School and James Cambell Primary School 80% of the drivers that use this road fail to stop when people are crossing the zebra crossings and still drive at 50mph or faster as if they are on the A13.

This is an ongoing problem with all the crossings and nothing is being done about it. I believe that having traffic lights, red light and speed cameras near the schools would make it safer for everyone that uses this road and schools

This needs to be done for the safety of the children that go to and from the schools
