Cyrus is a Commonwealth Country , 60,000 British expatriates living in Cyprus, and after its independence from UK retained 2 Sovereign Bases .

The EU failed Cyprus, and i believe it is in UK and Commonwealth interest to bail out Cyprus and to strengthen the bond between the Commonwealth.

Russia wants to host a Russian naval base in exchange for a bailout, and i believe this to be a threat to the 2 UK Bases in Cyprus.
