If fracking is to be permitted, under the guise of protecting energy supplies, then the Government MUST ensure that this valuable resource is used only for this purpose and not sold off overseas for the financial benefit of private companies. Any attempt to export this resource should be prevented unless it is in the interest of consumers.If necessary the process should be nationalised.
